Firm Foundations

So basically I have been outside of Salford for a couple days which has been nice, just to see my Mum and Dad oh and my little brother which is always interesting seeing the young boy grow up a little bit at a time each time I go home.

Once again guys this is just me thinking and therefore is not solid FACT! So DO NOT take out of context.

So this weekend has really left me with lots to think about,

I mean i haven't done a lot in all honesty but that is precisely what i needed.

So the issue that has been bothering me is the way people place their happiness in other peoples hands this is quite a scary fact and something i want to try and almost detach from if that makes sense.

Humans are fragile on this topic it reminded me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17lH2My9QGM.

So yeah we are fragile beings who when they see something that is out of the ordinary or something bad happens to them or there loved ones. If we are rooted in ourselves metaphorically speaking as in we get into the habit of this self reliance that i can do this on my own yes you may believe in God but you do not involve him in things in your life then when the storm comes it may even be the smallest gust but it will shake the roots to the core and sometimes may even require the roots to be looked at and reexamined.

Reexamining the roots is not a bad thing its good to question what we believe in or we will get stuck in a rut and will loose meaning, and be doing it for ourselves.

I believe we should get God involved in every little thing from the smallest thing e.g. taking that first breath in the morning to that final one at night because if we do that , if we bring everything to the great God then he will hear the cry of his children and provide for us exactly what we need, it may not be what we want but exactly what we need.

Now if we are to be deeply rooted into God's love and Grace and compassion when the storm comes yes it may shake us up a little bit, it may give us some time to question but one must know thy self to get closer to God. In these times i find that its so much easier to commit things to God in the big storms as it doesn't feel like were being pathetic.

But i know in my heart that if i don't let God in on how I'm feeling or how my day went he is curious as to why but he will be there waiting patiently like the perfect best friend ready to be there.

So when the bad times come and they do for all of us even me :) maybe even especially me its always good to remind yourself and root your self in the kind of God you know.

Who is Kind, Compassionate,Loving, Caring, Enduring, Never quits and has genuine interest in your day to day lives so then you know when the storm is ended it may eventually go back to this metaphorically. So may we all be comforted by God who is always there and always will be there for us whenever we may desire to talk with our father, and best friend.

Psalm 132

Once again just to say this is just my thoughts on things i have heard and I'm just bouncing ideas around so please do not take these out of context.

So i have just listened to a talk on Psalm 132.
A Pilgrim Song
1-5 O God, remember David, remember all his troubles! And remember how he promised God, made a vow to the Strong God of Jacob, "I'm not going home, and I'm not going to bed, I'm not going to sleep, not even take time to rest,Until I find a home for God, a house for the Strong God of Jacob."

This speaks so loudly to me, this isn't about regular things to do with life this is on about the decisions he made to radically seek and obey God.
When you obey God with all of your heart some people will be upset sometimes.

I think this is true because if God calls you to do something or places something on your heart then people who do not understand why or do not agree with what your going to do are going to be upset because they are not getting what they want from it or just think that your not doing the right thing.

But i know for sure that if God places something on your heart or speaks to you directly or you have a genuine prophetic word from someone then God will support you and these people will eventually see whats going on.

The next set of David's vow the speaker goes on to talk about the section on "I'm not going home, and I'm not going to bed, I'm not going to sleep, not even take time to rest,Until I find a home for God, a house for the Strong God of Jacob."

What a vow to make to the Lord almighty this is something that I wish I could do this and make this kind of a vow to the Lord Our God! This is a set of extreme like the case I'm in at the minute with me going to help with this 24/7 prayer project with my uncle. I feel like i need to make this commitment for my life.
I want to be one of these people that align their hearts with God to hear , to know , to see and to speak out for God.

The rest of this psalm talks about the revelation David had about the worship in heaven and it being mirrored in the world. This worship would be going on 24/7 this includes worship and intercession as prayer and worship go hand in hand.

I want to be a person who helps set up these 24/7 prayer houses not just in one center but in all over the world i believe people being called to set these up. I feel like my calling for now is to move heading towards my uncle to help set this up.

This excites me that you can think God is anointing people to be full time intercessors, full time worshipers and the possibilities that go along with that this is the part that frightens me because i don't want figuratively speaking the world to do this half heatedly i want something big, If we aim so high with the Lord to have a ridiculous amount of people and I believe its possible we all just have to be aligned with God.

For the practical people who have to deal with money do not worry yourself over money for if you look at the story of Nehemiah did.
Nehemiah did not get the financial backing he needed so the people that gathered had to go back to their payed jobs. Nehemiah then was stired up by these and he went to the powerfull men and weomen of the times and he asked why the prayer rooms empty?

He didnt wait for the money he gathered the people together anyway and then the nation had a realisation that this is right to do!Then the financial backing came!

This story blows my mind completly I mean getting started on the project without financial backing first i mean it just doesnt happen in this day and people have to be secure that the money is there first. To have that kind of faith that Nehemiah had is unreal.
I hope and I pray over the coming days months and years i would have this faith and continue to have this faith the whole of my life.

I can see this happening in England but we need to put things in place for it to happen and not just sit back and wait for financial backing first.

This is just some ideas and somethings i have heard and will be continuing to think about once again thanks for reading.
Cheers
